Autograph is a music notation app for iPad. You write notes by hand on the staff with an Apple Pencil, and they are recognised and engraved as you go – then played back. If you would rather not write by hand, tapping the staff places a note, and a connected MIDI keyboard works too.
It engraves properly: real music font, correct stems, beams, ledger lines and page layout, so what you see on screen is what prints. It reads and writes both MusicXML and MEI, exports PDF, and keeps your scores in iCloud so the same piece opens on your iPad and your Mac.
This is an early beta. Handwriting recognition is the part I most want tested - please write the way you normally write, not the way you think the app wants. Anything that reads wrongly is useful to me.
